Privacy Policy
Applies to all games and interactive titles published by Engine Era Studio · Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short: our games do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect personal information ourselves. When our games run on a third-party gaming platform, that platform's own SDK (advertising, analytics, anti-fraud, consent) may process data under that platform's privacy policy. Game progress is stored locally in your browser or device storage.
1. Who we are
Engine Era Studio is the game development studio of Shanghai Yuanzhumin Technology ("we", "us"). This policy covers our browser (HTML5) games, VR titles and mini-game titles, including Dan Dao 3 Kingdoms — Parry & Blast! and VRKayak, wherever they are published.
Contact for any privacy question or request: 3802738@qq.com.
2. Data we collect ourselves
We do not operate accounts, logins, mailing lists or our own analytics back end for these games. We do not knowingly collect names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, precise location, contacts, photos or payment data through the games.
What our games store on your device (not on our servers):
- local game progress, settings, language choice and high scores;
- short-lived technical flags needed for the current session (for example, whether an optional ad was shown).
This information stays in your browser or device storage and is removed when you clear your browser/device data. We cannot read it remotely.
3. Data processed by hosting platforms
Our browser games are distributed on third-party web gaming platforms (for example CrazyGames, Playgama and similar portals). When you play there, the platform — not we — operates the game's hosting, its advertising, its analytics and its consent tooling. Typical data processed by such platforms includes:
| Category | Examples | Who controls it |
|---|---|---|
| Technical / device | IP address, browser and device type, language | Platform (and its ad partners) |
| Usage | session length, level progress events, ad impressions | Platform |
| Advertising | ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, consent signals | Platform's advertising partners |
| Purchases | if a platform supports in-app purchases, payment data | Platform / payment provider |
We may receive aggregated, non-identifying reports from platforms (for example, number of plays or average session length). We do not receive individual player identities. Each platform's own privacy policy and its cookie/consent settings govern that processing — please refer to the platform you play on, and to its consent banner for advertising choices.
4. Advertising and consent
Advertising shown inside our games is served by the hosting platform and its ad partners. We do not run our own ad network, and we do not receive personally identifying data from the ad tech. Where consent is legally required (for example under the GDPR or for personalised ads), the consent flow is provided by the platform.
5. Children
Our games are general-audience entertainment and are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to a platform in connection with our game, contact the platform's support first — and you can also reach us at the address above and we will assist.
6. Legal bases and your rights
Where data protection law applies to you (for example the GDPR or CCPA), the platform processing your gameplay data is the party that must honour access, deletion, objection and portability requests; consent withdrawal for advertising is handled in the platform's consent settings. Because we hold no personal data of our own, a request sent to us will in most cases be forwarded and answered with confirmation that we hold no records on you.
7. Security and retention
We keep our build and deployment tooling minimal and do not store player data on our own infrastructure, so there is no player database of ours to breach or to retain. Locally stored game progress persists until you clear it on your device.
8. Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example if we add our own accounts or analytics — we will update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect. The current version always lives at this URL.
